 Review from Imagine Magazine (Aug '85)
A review of Night of the Comet from a 1985 issue of Space Voyager magazine written by the now famous comic book writer, Neil Gaiman, was recently added to the Memorabilia section of the site. I have recently discovered another review by the aforementioned Mr Gaiman in an issue of Imagine magazine from August 1985. This too, has now been added to the Memorabilia section of the site. Kelli Maroney set for a Dark X-mas
Kelli Maroney is a confirmed guest at this year's Dark X-mas. Now in its fifth year, Dark X-mas is the premier horror, sci-fi, celebrity, memorabilia and film expo in the Youngstown/Warren area. This year's convention will be running from 9-11 November at the Comfort Inn. [15/05/07] UPDATE 25/10/07: Kelli will no longer be appearing at the Dark X-mas event.

Night of the Comet Showing in LA Film Festival
It's like waiting for a bus... nothing for ages then three come along at once!
Night of the Comet will be showing as part of the Los Angeles Film Festival. The Festival runs from 21 June to 1 July 2007 and NOTC is listed under the Special Screenings and Series in the Full Programme Listing. The screening, set for Saturday 23 June, will be FREE on the Festival Promenade on Broxton Avenue. Also listed in this section are Them (1954) and Buffy the Vampire Slayer Sing-a-long. Night of the Comet on the Big Screen - Again - and this time it's Free!
The Alamo Downtown Cinema, Austin Texas, will be presenting a FREE screening Night of the Comet, as part of their Terror Thursday programme, on Thursday 24 May, 11.59pm. Seating is on a first come first served basis. [07/05/07]

For those fortunate enough to be in or near LA, Kelli Maroney will be appearing at the FANGORIA Convention taking place in Burbank on 18-20 May. Night of the Comet Screening in Germany
The ZKM | Media Museum, Karlsruhe, Germany will be showing Night of the Comet as part of their exhibition zwischen zwei toden / between two deaths. The exhibition runs from 12 May to 19 August 2007 and NOTC will be showing in the ZKM cube on 12 May. Other films showing as in conjunction with the exhibition include: Panic in Year Zero! (Ray Milland, 1962), The Last Man on Earth (Ubaldo Ragona, 1964), The Omega Man (Boris Sagal, 1971) and The Quiet Earth (Geoff Murphy, 1985). [02/05/07] |

Fans of Kelli might be interested to know of two recently created fan sites. One fan has set up a Yahoo Group for Ms Maroney. The group contains a nice photo gallery (featuring images sent by Kelli herself!), as well as an extensive links list, and several wallpaper and calendar downloads.
